Vintage 1940s Black Corde Pearly Framed Handbag

This beautiful bag was Made in England in the wartime years by renowned makers  Corde. It features their distinctive geometric braiding in fine black cord to both the front and the back. The front of the bag has a pearly lucite shaped panel set onto the gold tone metal frame, with a top push clasp and the short handle is braided in the black cord. Inside is lined with black satin and there are 2 internal pockets. 
Measures 8.25” x7.5” x 2.5” and remains in excellent vintage condition. A great bag to use at a vintage festival or event.
