Vintage 1950s CFR Gold/ivory clutch sparkling Lurex evening bag. Made in England, formal event, gifts for her.

Sparkle and Shone at any event with this gorgeous original 1950s metallic clutch by renowned bag makers CFR.
Made in England , the soft body is made from ivory lurex fabric woven with gold metallic threads. It has an arched shaped gold tone metal frame with a twin twist clasp. It is lined inside with ivory taffetta and there is a ruched pocket with the original vanity mirror still inside. The label reads ‘CFR Made in England’.
Measures 10.24” wide x 5” and unlike most vintage bags will fit a mobile phone inside. Remains in excellent vintage condition, there would probably have been a short chain handle when it was first made but this does not detract from the overall look and can be still used as a gorgeous clutch.
