Vintage 1950s Large Silver Metallic Chain Mail Evening Bag & Matching Coin Purse, Wedding, Formal Event

Step back to the fabulous fifties with this stunning silver large chain mail evening bag and matching art deco style coin purse, perfect for a wedding or any formal event .
The soft body of the bag is made from satin with a shimmering silver chain mail metallic overlay.it has a brushed silver tone metal frame with a twin top clasp and a short snake chain handle.
The inside is lined with Ivory Taffetta and there is an internal pocket. Comes with a matching chain mail coin purse with an ornate silver tone fame and twist clasp.
The bag measures 7.5” wide x 7” and the coin purse is 2.5” wide x 3.5 “. Externally the bag remains in excellent vintage condition, as good as the day it was made, however there are some stains and discolouration to the lining. This would never be noticed when the bag is used and does not detract from the overall look and beauty of this classic piece.
