Vintage French Handmade 1930/40s Black Satin Beaded Evening Bag

Handmade in France in the 1930/40s, the soft body is made from black satin and is beautifully decorated to both side with black glossy bugle beads and sequins in a floral design.

It has an old gold tone fine metal frame with a central twist clasp and a fine diagonal short chain handle.

The bag is beautifully lined with black satin and the label inside reads “Handmade in France”.

It measures 7.5” x 5.25”.

It remains in excellent vintage condition for its age, with the frame and chain being slightly discoloured through use. This does not detract from the timeless quality and style of this gorgeous bag.
