Antique 1920s 1930s Art Deco Black Silver Beaded Drawstring Purse Tassel Evening Bag

A beautiful original antique Art Deco beaded drawstring purse dating from the 1920s–1930s.

The bag is intricately worked in tiny glass micro beads in a striking monochrome palette of black, silver and grey. The geometric design is wonderfully typical of the Art Deco era, with a dramatic diamond-shaped lower section and three hanging beaded tassels adding movement and period character.

It fastens with a silky cord drawstring and is finished with additional beaded tassel details at the sides. Despite its age, the beadwork remains remarkably intact and the overall condition is excellent.

A fabulous collector’s piece and a beautiful accessory for evening wear, vintage events or display.
