Antique 1920s/30s Art Deco Floral Micro Beaded Evening Bag, Fringed Hem, Wedding, Formal Event, Ladies Day

This exquisite antique evening bag dates back to the early years of the twentieth century and would have been present at some marvellous parties and events in its time.
It has an ornate silver tone metal frsme with a delicate twin clasp and short chain handle. The soft body of the bag is beautifully decorated on both sides in an intricate floral pattern with vibtant coloured micro beads in shades of green, pink, yellow and turquoise. The rest of the bag is encrusted in sparkling pewter coloured seed beads and there is a looped fringe along the hem.inside is lined in cream silk with a ruched trim and internal pocket.
Measures 7” x 6” and remains in good vintage condition, however due to the great age, it does have some issues.
This rare survivor has obviously been well used , the beading on the outside of the bag is intact and still vibrant however there is a section of the beaded looped fringe missing at one corner, the frame is a little tarnished and the silk lining is. However the beading on the bag itself is intact and is really a work of art.
