Antique Art Deco Black Crepe Silk Evening Bag by CFR, silver flower clasp, original vanity mirror and George VI sixpence

Step out in Art Deco style carrying this simply stunning silk evening bag by renowned makers CFR.
The bag has a stiffened body, covered with black crepe silk, finely pleated on the front panel and the back and sides are plain with piped edging. It has a covered silver tone metal frame with a delicate floral lift clasp in the centre set with silver crystals. It has a short fabric strap and is lined inside with black satin. The internal pocket has the original vanity mirror still inside with a lucky George VI Sixpence. The label reads ‘ CFR Made in England’ .
The bag measures 7.25” wide x 5” x 1.5” around the base and sides and remains in excellent vintage condition, as good as the day it was made and ready to party once more !
