Antique Art Deco Circular Beaded Evening Bag , Gold Taffeta with white, green and silver beading.

Add a quirky touch of Art Deco magic to any outfit with this original 1920/30s evening bag.

Made from gold taffeta, the circular bag features a beaded overlay mesh decoration to both sides. This overlay is an intricate web of ivory and silver seed beads with pale green bugle beads.

It has a front flap fastening with a press stud fastening underneath. It has a short cord handle, twisted with beads.

Inside is lined with a gold taffeta, however this is marked due to the great age.

It measures 5.25” in diameter and remains in excellent vintage condition for the age. The main beading is intact, however some of the silver beads are missing from the handle. These faults are minor given the great age of the piece and would never be noticed when the bag is used.
