Antique Art Deco French 1920s/30s Rainbow Beaded Evening Bag with ornate Bakelite frame

Add a touch of Art Deco style and sophistication to any outfit with this stunning antique beaded evening bag.
Made in France in the 1920s/30s, the soft body of the bag is completely encrusted with borealus rainbow bugle beads that sparkle and shine in shades of pink,green, gold, bronze and purple. There is a loped fringe in the same beads along the bottom edge.
it has an arched Bakelite frame in cream and beige with a Buddha in the centre flaked by elephants on either side, the back and front are the same. The frame as a button clasp in the centre, push down to open and there is a Bakelite chain handle.
The bag is lined in a blue and bronze floral brocade, there is a small leather coin purse inside with the initial’H’ and the inside of the bag is stamped with ‘Made in France’.
Meadures 7” wide x 8” with the fringe measuring 1”and remains in excellent vintage condition, as good as the day it was made, a very rare and fabulous pieces that I am sure has many more marvellous parties to go to!
