Antique Art Deco French Bakelite framed Beaded evening Bag. Prom, wedding, gifts for her

This absolutely fabulous antique evening bag dates back to the early years of the 20th century and would have graced the arm of a most glamorous lady. It has a soft silk body beautifully beaded all over with deep red, pink, blue and lime green tiny seed beads. The body is gathered onto a tortoise shell Bakelite shaped frame which has Made in France stamped to the inside. It has a top push down button clasp. It has a short beaded silk handle and is lined inside with black silk finished with an ornate braid.
Measures 6” wide x 6.5” from the top of the clasp to the hem, there is a dust cover inside but is not original to the piece. Remains in amazing condition for its age although there are some missing beads on the handle through age and use, a minor issue that does not detract from the beauty of this rare collectable piece of history.
