Antique Art Deco French Black Crepe pearl clasp evening bag- by SAILSBURYS

This beautiful antique evening bag by renowned makers Salisburys was made in France in the Art Deco era. Made from black silk crepe, the soft body is pleated onto an antique gold metal ornate frame. It has a short gold tone chain strap and an ornate floral clasp set with a faux pearl. Inside is lined with Ivory satin and there is an internal pocket with the original square vanity mirror still inside. Measures 7” x 6.75” and remains in excellent vintage condition. The only , very minor issue is that a small area of the faux pearl coating is missing on the clasp, however this is barely noticeable and does not detract from this gorgeous period piece.
