Antique Edwardian/ Art Deco Black Bakelite and Silver Crystal Large Brooch, pre 1910

Add a classic touch of art deco style and glamour wearing this fabulous antique Bakelite and crystal brooch.
Dating to the early years of the 20th century, the large brooch is slightly arched and is the shape of an elongated diamond, most elegant. It is made from black Bakelite/lucite and is decorated with geometric panels set with sparkling silver crystals surrounded by fine silver lines.
It has a long secure pin and ‘c’ catch which dates it to pre 1910, could be victorian as these were used from 1850 but very much in the style of Art Deco.
Measures 1.5cm wide x 14.5cm
Excellent vintage condition for its age, silver lines have faded slightly but all stones are present and still bright.
