Antique Edwardian/ Art deco French Hand beaded ivory and old gold evening bag. Wedding, formal event.

This exquisite evening bag was hand made in France in the early years of the 20th Century. Made from Ivory moiré taffeta, it is hand beaded to front, back sides in an art deco design. An intricate floral design is worked in a combination of tiny Ivory , old gold and white seed beads with metallic inset ribbon trims. The bag has an ornate gold tone metal frame with a twin top clasp fastening and it has the original finger ring to hold it still attached. Inside is lined in Ivory Taffetta and there is an internal pocket with the original vanity mirror still inside . The label reads ‘Made in France’.
Measures 5.25” wide x 4.5” and remains in excellent condition for its age, a rare survivor!
