Antique Edwardian/ Art Deco Ivory Silk Beaded Evening Bag with Faux Pearl Clasp and Frame, Ivory & Gunmetal Micro Beads

Step back in time to the roaring twenties with this simply stunning antique ivory evening bag, perfect for any formal event to shimmy on the dance floor.
Hand Made from Ivory silk, it is beautifully decorated with a floral design on the front of the bag with Ivory seed beads and pewter bugle beads surrounded by intricate vermicelli beading. The back of the bag are beaded also, with a similar bur simpler design.
It has an arched gold tone ornate frame set with faux pearls with a large faux pearl twist clasp.Inside is lined in cream silk and there is an internal pocket.
Measures 6” wide x 6” and remains in excellent condition for its age with only a couple of small areas of missing beads near the frame. This is barely noticeable given the age, style and history of this bag and is reflected in the price. Perfect for a vintage wedding or a special occasion, ready to party once more !
