Antique Italian Micro Mosaic Panel Bracelet, Venetian Glass on Brass, early 20th century, sustainable gift

Italian Micro Mosaic is made up from tiny pieces of glass called treserae, arranged to form an image. An art form that represents a real labour of love by skilled artisans, some pieces can date back as far as the 17th century.
This fabulous antique bracelet dating from the early 20th century is a fine example of Micro Mosaic. It is made up from 5 panels of delicate milli fiori glass in a floral design in shades of red, blue, green, pink and white onto a brass backing.
The bracelet has a secure catch and the panels remain securely attached together. Eacjh panel measures 3.5 cm long x 1 cm wide and the bracelet length is 7.5”.
Remains in excellent vintage condition for its age, the brass backing is a little tarnished but this would never be noticed when the bracelet is worn. Comes in a gift box, a delightful sustainable gift .
