Antique Venetian Purple ‘End of Day’ Flapper Beaded Necklace

This beautiful deep purple vintage beaded necklace was craftsman made from Venetian glass beads, very dark with flecks of brighter colours. Often known as ‘End of Day ‘beads, they were made from whatever leftover glass they had been working with at the end of each day. They are therefore very individual and unique. The larger lozenge shaped beads are interspersed smaller glass beads and gold tone metal chain links. The beads measure 44” and remain in excellent vintage condition. A rare and unique gift.
