Vintage 1930/40s French Silk Brocade Gold and Black Evening Bag

This fabulous French vintage evening bag dates back to the 1930s/40s and is made from woven metallic thread silk brocade in black and gold ruched onto an ornate silver tone metal frame. It has a large twin top twist clasp inset with faux pearl beads and a diagonal fine chain short handle. The inside of the bag is lined in cream satin and the pocket still has the original vanity mirror still inside. Measures 7” x 5” and remains in excellent vintage condition with only a couple of feint marks on the lining .
