Vintage 1930/40s Gold metallic Lurex cocktail Bag CFR, made in England, wedding, prom.

This small but perfectly formed evening bag was made in England by renowned bag maker CFR in the 1930s/40s . It has a soft body made from metallic gold fabric pleated onto a covered metal frame . There is an ornate gold tone metal lift clasp at the front of the bag, studded with silver rhinestones and a short fabric top handle. Inside is lined in cream satin and there is an internal pocket.
Measures 7” x 5” and remains in excellent vintage condition for its age with only a tiny bit of wear on the back near the frame at the top and a few age related marks on the lining. Minor issues that would never be noticed when the bag is used, this bag has plenty of special occasions to still attend!
