Vintage 1940/50s Gold (chain mail) evening bag with matching coin purse, rhinestone clasp, wedding, prom, gift for her

This absolutely fabulous vintage mid century evening bag shimmers and shines in gold metallic ‘chain mail’ fabric that looks much more gold in real life than the photographs show. It has a gold tone metal frame decorated with silver rhinestones on the front, has an ornate top clasp set with rhinestone crystals and a diagonally set snake chain handle. Inside I’d lined with rich gold Taffetta, there is an internal pocket that has the original vanity mirror still inside and a matching small coin purse.
Measures 9” x 4.5” and remains in excellent vintage condition.
