Vintage 1940/50s Le Soir Brown velvet large evening bag, wedding, prom.

This gorgeous vintage evening bag by renowned bag makers Le Soir was hand made in Hong Kong in the 1940s/50s. It has a large soft body in rich chocolate brown velvet pleated onto a covered metal frame. It has an ornate art deco style gold tone filigree lift up clasp and a double gold tone metal chain handle . inside is lined in brown satin and there is an internal pocket.
Measures a generous 9.5” wide x 5.5” so the usual problem of fitting a modern mobile phone into a vintage bag doesn’t apply! Remains in excellent vintage condition, plaenty of grand events still to attend!
