Vintage 1950/60s Empire made black satin evening bag, beaded floral.

This fabulous vintage evening bag would add the perfect touch of vintage glamour to any formal outfit.
Dating back to the 1950s it was made by hand in the days of the Great British Empire and has all of the hallmarks of a bag produced in this era. It has a soft black satin body , beautifully decorated in a floral trelis design to the front in black glossy seed beads, the back has a simpler trelis design. it has a gold tone metal frame, twin top clasp and a diagonally set snake chain handle. inside is lined in black satin and there is an internal pocket.
Measures 7.5” x 5.75” and remains in excellent vintage condition, a beautiful bag that surely has many more grand events to attend!
