Vintage 1950s Black Beaded Evening Bag with Matching Coin Purse Gold Tone Frame

A beautiful original 1950s evening bag, richly hand beaded in black and accompanied by its matching coin purse.

The bag is covered in tiny black seed beads with elegant bugle-bead floral and foliage motifs decorating both the front and back. The subtle all-black design gives it a wonderfully sophisticated mid-century look, while the gold-tone metal frame adds a touch of contrast and glamour.

It has a spring-loaded hinged opening with a pretty scalloped gold-tone trim and a short matching beaded handle. Inside, the bag is lined in black satin and includes an internal pocket.
