Vintage 1950s Brown Grosgrain Lace Trim ‘Kelly’ shape handbag by RUSSELL, Made in England , Gifts for Her, Wedding

Step out in style with this gorgeous lace detailed brown grosgrain handbag.
It has the classic ‘Kelly’ shape, so named after Grace Kelly who made this particular style of bag famous in the 1950s. Covered in rich chocolate brown grosgrain fabric , it has an intricate lace applique detail on the front. The bag has a gold tone metal frame with a diamond shaped push clasp that fastens with a very satisfying ‘ clunk’. It has a short grosgrain fabric top handle and a very roomy interior lined in brown taffeta. The label inside reads ‘ Russell Model, made in England ‘ and there is an internal pocket that still has the original Anita mirror in its original packaging inside.
Measures 9.5” x 7.5” x 2.25” at the base and remains in excellent vintage condition, looks as good now as the day it was made.
