vintage 1960s Italian Navy Rafia beaded Handbag, Hand made in Italy.

Step back in time to the swinging sixties with this fabulous Italian hand made handbag, very stylish and typical of the Italian bags from this period.
The soft body is made from padded navy blue satin with a distinctive hand knotted rafia mesh that has faceted navy beads woven through it.
Has an oval shaped base and the rigid heavy plastic frame incorporates the twin handles with a gold tone metal lift clasp on the top.
The top handle splits in 2 to open the bag and it is lined in navy grossgrain.
Measures 8” wide x 8” x 3.5 wide at the base and remains in excellent vintage condition. A great bag to use every day or to add a classic touch of sixties style to any formal outfit.
