Vintage 1960s Italian Style Deep Red Beaded Evening Bag by Gap, Irridescent black/ red faceted beads, Formal Event, Wedding

Get into the groove, swinging sixties style with this retro beaded handbag by Gap inspired and using the same materials and techniques of similar vintage Italian Beaded bags from the era.
The bag is made up from hundreds of iridescent red/black/ deep purple faceted beads wired together to form a mesh handbag shape with lustre seed beads in purple. The bag has integral twin top handles, everything is made up as one with no seams or joins . It has a maroon coloured satin lining which shows through the mesh of the back, there is a magnetic stud fastening inside and an internal pocket.
Measures 6.5” wide x 5.5” x 2” at the base and sides and the bag remains in excellent pre loved condition.
