Vintage 1980s Black Velvet Evening Bag with Silver Lamé Bow Detail

This fabulous vintage bag dates back to the 1980s- Think power dressing- Joan Collins and Dynasty. It is an unusual geometric shape, has a rigid body and a fabulous silver Lamé bow detail to the front flap. It has a doubled shoulder length silky cord strap which can be tucked inside if used as a clutch and pleated sides to open up wide. Lined in Black satin with a magnetic catch to underside of flap and internal pocket.Label reads made in Hong Kong- in the day of the empire.  Measures 9.5” x 7” at widest point. Excellent vintage condition- couple of small marks on velvet back but doesn’t detract from its appearance.
