A fabulous vintage 1980s statement necklace with an elegant articulated collar design, finished in warm gold tone and sparkling deep purple crystals.

The front of the necklace is formed from a series of openwork marquise-shaped links, each set with a small cluster of rich purple rhinestone crystals. The articulated construction gives the necklace lovely movement and allows it to sit comfortably and neatly around the collarbone.

The decorative section continues into a flexible flat S-link chain, creating a beautifully fluid finish typical of glamorous 1980s costume jewellery.
