A spectacular vintage Butler & Wilson statement brooch featuring a bold Maltese Cross design, beautifully set with sparkling Aurora Borealis crystals and clear rhinestones.

The silver-tone metal setting is richly embellished with iridescent crystals which catch the light in flashes of pink, blue, green, gold and violet. A large faceted crystal sits at the centre, surrounded by graduated Aurora Borealis stones and rows of smaller clear rhinestones that define the angular points of the cross.

The dramatic geometric design gives this piece real presence while still remaining elegant and wearable — a fabulous example of the glamorous costume jewellery for which Butler & Wilson is so well known.
