Vintage Butler And Wilson Turquoise Beaded and Fringed Evening Bag, Floral Embroidered Lustre Seed Beads, Crystal Beads And Borealis Sequins

Made from pale embroidered turquoise taffetta, it is beautifully decorated on the front and back in a floral design with Borealis lustre sequins, seed beads and bugle beads in shades of pink, green and silver that sparkle and shine in the light. The hem of the bag has an ornate fringe of multicoloured beaded clusters and drops with faux pearls and crystals which is etched on the short top handle.
It has a dark silver / pewter tone metal frame with a twin twist clasp and an optional Byzantine shoulder length chain strap. Inside is lined in matching satin and there is an internal pocket.
Measures 8 ” wide x 4” , the beads hand down from the bottom of the bag by another 3.5”. The bag remains in excellent vintage condition, with only a very feint, barely visible age related mark on one corner. A gorgeous piece, perfect for any formal event and ready to party once more !
