Vintage Extra Large Black Dupion Silk ‘ Bird of Paradise’ Embroidered and Beaded Evening Clutch Bag, Formal Event

Step out in style at any formal event with this stunning large black clutch bag. Made from black dupion ( slubbed) silk and is beautifully decorated to the front flap and onto the back with a bird of paradise and intricate floral embroidery and lustre beads . The decoration is worked in metallic threads and silks in gold, rose gold , pink and green, just gorgeous!
Inside is lined in black satin, there is a secure zipped internal pocket and a stud fastening to the underside of the front flap.
Measures 12” x 9” and remains in excellent vintage condition, there is a feint mark under the flap where I think a label has been removed but this is barely noticeable and woukd never be seen.
