Vintage Italian Micro Mosaic long Drop Earrings, gold tone (brass) and multicoloured glass mosaic

Italian Micro Mosaic is made up from tiny pieces of glass called treserae, arranged to form an image. An art form that represents a real labour of love by skilled artisans, some pieces can date back as far as the 17th century.

Made in a gold tone metal (probably brass), the earrings feature graduated circles set with intricate floral micro mosaic patterns, interspersed with gold tone chain links in red, blue, green and white.

They have secure gold tone ear wires and measure 2.5cm at the widest point with a 6cm drop.

They remain in excellent vintage condition and come in a gift box.
