Vintage Large Malachite Gemstone Oval Brooch, Floral brass setting , as new in gift box

Malachite is associated with transformation and change, believed to help with personal growth and breaking old patterns. It’s said to absorb negative emotions and encourage emotional balance. It is strongly linked to love, compassion, and emotional openness. Historically it was believed to protect travelers and warn of danger (when it broke). 

This beautiful vintage brooch features a large oval cabochon-cut of malachite gemstone in a classic colouring with the concentric banding.

It is set into a foliate old gold tone setting, probably brass.

It has a secure pin and latch hook and remains in excellent vintage condition.

It measures 4.5cm W x 6cm, with the gemstone measuring 3cm x 4cm.

It comes in a gift box.
