Vintage Mid Century Silver Metallic Lurex Evening Bag, Gold Beaded decoration and white lucite frame

Sparkle and shine out on the dance floor with this fabulous genuine groovy 1960s evening bag.
The soft slightly padded body is made from a silver and black metallic fabric in a trellis design which is decorated in alternating gold single beads and panels of diagonal long bugle beads in the centre of each diamond . It has a gold tone metal frame which is inset with a white lucite panel with silver flowers and is trimmed with gold seed beads. The bag has a central twist clasp and there is a doubled short chain strap. inside is lined in black satin and the label states Made in Hong Kong. ( in the days of the British Empire).
The bag measures 8” x 5.5” and remains in excellent vintage condition with only a couple of small marks on the right hand side of the frame.
