Vintage Renata Italian Leather Clutch Bag, Iridescent Peacock Snakeskin Style

A striking vintage Renata clutch bag, made in Italy and dating from around the 1970s–1980s.

The exterior is finished in a fabulous iridescent peacock-effect faux snakeskin embossed leather, shimmering through shades of green, blue and purple as it catches the light. The sculptural V-shaped front flap gives it a strong geometric look, with panelled topstitching adding extra definition.

The flap closes securely with a concealed magnetic stud fastening, while the interior is lined in black suede and includes a useful internal pocket. A metallic label inside reads “Renata Made in Italy.”
