Vintage Sterling Silver Large Oval Locket, Birmingham Hallmark, Foliate Engraving onto 925 Silver Snake Chain

A vintage silver locket is a classic pieceand would make a fabulous sustainable gift for any loved one or sweetheart.
This large sterling silver locket is Oval shaped with intricate foliate engraving on the front and has a plain silver back It has a hinged opening and decorative silver hasp.
Marked sterling silver on the back, the hallmark is very faint through wear so can't read the exact date but it was made in Birmingham and is sterling silver.
The locket comes on a new 16" Silver 925 snake chain, fastens with a lobster claw catch.
Locket measures 3cm wide x 4.2cm, 5cm drop from top of hasp.
It remains in excellent Vintage condition, has been polished and restored and comes in a gift box.
