Vintage Venetian ‘Wedding Cake’ Beaded Necklace

This opera length vintage necklace is made from craftsmen made individual Venetian ‘wedding cake’ beads, named so as they resemble little cakes with icing of gold leaf, swirls, dots and flowers. The beads are in pretty shades of pink, gold and blue and are interspersed with smaller foiled pink glass beads and gold tone metal findings. They have a screw clasp, measure 29” long and remain in excellent vintage condition. Would make a beautiful gift.
